Why this exists.
A free worldwide eligibility checker for repair rights. Built on public legal sources, cited per item. The information is public — it's just scattered. We unify it on one page, keyed to your device.

01
The information is public.
EU Directive 2024/1799, the UK Ecodesign Regulations 2021, US state R2R statutes — all published in primary form. The problem isn't access. It's that none of these sources answer the question a consumer actually asks: given my device, brand, jurisdiction and purchase date — what can I demand?
02
What we are not.
- 01We are not a law firm. Every output is informational only.
- 02We don't store your answers. Coverage is computed in your session.
- 03We never paraphrase a primary legal source as if it were our own — we cite it.
03
Data freshness.
Laws change. Manufacturer policies change. We review every source at least quarterly, and each manufacturer record carries a lastUpdated stamp on the result page.

Contributing.
Every jurisdiction lives as a single JSON file in /content/jurisdictions/. Spotted a mistake? Found a new law in transposition? Open an issue or PR.
